'See No Evil' is a 10 colour giclee print on Coldpress deckled edged archival paper. It has a one colour hand-pulled screen print on top and crushed black diamond dust appliqu'. Each print in the limited edition of 140 has been hand-signed and numbered by Ben Eine. This striking and sparkling print is a classic Ben Eine play on the familiar proverb 'See No Evil Hear No Evil'. The proverb is embodied by the three wise monkeys ' Mizaru covering his eyes, Kikazaru covering his ears, and Iwazaru, who speaks to evil, covering his mouth. The original source is a 17th century Japanese carving, but Eine offers a contemporary Street Art interpretation featuring his iconic use of colourful typography.
